The ocean remains curiously calm for mid winter, and my boards are gathering dust on the floor behind me. God, I need to get back in the water. A month might as well be a year...

The Chinese say crisis = danger + opportunity, the danger being that I could potentially go insane and get locked up, but the opportunity being that a "mild" winter presents the perfect opportunity to visit the alpine zone in relative safety. And so it goes....
