Back to planet earth

Found a little spot called deep hole in Matanuck Sunday am. Little bump rolling in but wind and tide were working against me. Headed east to Narraganset pier where there was some protection from the south breeze, but tide was off. Wrote the whole deal off as a scouting trip, arms feeling rubbery, the way I like to feel.
The late 70's westies are one of the coolest cars ever built. Pop top with bunk for two up top, kitchenettes, and an engine so simple you can set the timing with a screwdriver and a 12 volt lightbulb. Top end is 60 mph, downhill... Bring a lot of music for the ride. This guy was chugging up the bridge to Newport..
